  1. If the bones are from a raw whole chicken, roast in the oven at 400 degrees until cooked through (~30 minutes). If the bones are from a cooked whole chicken, no additional roasting is needed. At this point, you can freeze the bones for later bone broth making.
  2. Add all the ingredients to a slow cooker and cover with water. Cook on low for 24 hours.
  3. Strain the broth using a fine mesh strainer into a container. Store in the fridge for up to a week or pour into gallon freezer bags and store in the freezer forever.
